In honor of Agnes Dreary Celebration Six, each day of August a doll from Drearydom presents Agnes with a gift.

Eve of Dollpire/Dollmore waited in the sitting room cautiously holding her present for Agnes.

Agnes Dreary Celebration Six

Penne is a dear friend I met through Agnes Dreary six years ago while purchasing a fashion for Agnes from her on Ebay. Every year she sends my Agnes Dreary a fashion for her birthday along with a bit of a storyline connected to the garment.

 Here is the story for Agnes Dreary Celebration Six - Carly PS Agnes's friends were required to black to the event!

the Storyline -

Agnes stomped her foot, while Victor laughed and played with the dog, and
Mrs. Dreary tried to talk with Sister on the phone. Great Aunt Olivia,
having coffee in the kitchen and watching Riley color could only shake her
head.

"I will not wear that dress, Mother!" Agnes insisted. "Its pastel pink!"
She whined miserably, "how could you do that to me?"

Mrs. Dreary assumed that Agnes was getting hormones, but that was neither
here nor there. The BBQ was tomorrow, Agnes needed a dress, and that was
the only one that met criteria in her size; she would have to wear it.

"It does fit you well, Agnes," announced Olivia, and, she went on, "I
think we can make a few small changes that will make you much happier with
it." She picked up her coffee and asked Agnes to come into the other room
with her and help her get the sewing things...

Several hours later, the dress was still pink, but eminently wearable in
Agnes's opinion....

Although they may never make it to the beach, the Kish kids are quite satisfied to stay shelf bound for their summer vacation 2013.

Doll Bones

Every doll has a story and Doll Bones is one of the best doll adventure reads yet. Set in contemporary Pennsylvania, three young teens, with a passion for character gaming, set off for a cemetery in Ohio to bring the queen doll to her final resting place.

Humpty Dumpty Happily Falls ...

We're talking about French doll artist Nefer Kane's Humpty Dumpty "eggster" doll and she has happily fallen into Pennsylvania and landed on a doll shelf. (Click on pic to enlarge)

Her sister dolls adore her as does her owner.

HD welcomed by her doll sisters: Violet Goth ABCer (Paulette Goodreau/Michele Hardy face-up), Valentina Rose 1 (Lorella Falconi), THE AMAZING HD (Nefer Kane), Lydia Grimmsley (Kim Lasher), and Amber Studio Doll Little Darling (Dianna Effner/Geri Uribe face-up).

Oh, and the BEST part HD can wear shoes and outfits intended for Tonner's 10 inch Ann Estelle and the new Patsy.

Amber does Fancy Nancy

No time for lamentation - but YIKES! February-March-April have not been kind months weather wise or health wise.

Let me present Studio Doll AMBER (my first and fave) dressed in clothes from Tonner (or was it Effanbee?) that were intended for Fancy Nancy but look wonderfully whimsical on Amber!!
