Darwin Fashion for SD
I confess. I purchased this doll fashion years before I owned a BJD. The attention to detail, quality of the fabric/craftsmanship, and unique style made me press the BIN button.

Darwin Dress SD 13
- printed cotton dress & pinafore inspired by Charles Darwin! Included are:
1 - A sweet cotton dress with a lovely print including butterflies & insects. This dress has full sleeves, a rounded collar, glass buttons at the back, and a glass button accent at the neckline. At the hem there is pretty cotton lace and twill ribbon with the word, "evidence", and its definition.
2 - An adorable pinafore with ruffled cap sleeves printed with the genus & species of many specimens, and "evidence" ribbon & lace at the hem. This pinafore also buttons in the back with glass buttons.
3 - A tan 100% wool felt beret adorned with pretty striped, grosgrain ribbon & a brass beetle!
THE SHOES - Purchased the perfect footwear for this fashion last week. A random Flickr post from Val Zietler offered boots and strappy shoes in their natural color or dyed. I chose a beige color to complement the fashion.

Eve Dollpire - A Gift for Celebration Six
In honor of Agnes Dreary Celebration Six, each day of August a doll from Drearydom presents Agnes with a gift.
Eve of Dollpire/Dollmore waited in the sitting room cautiously holding her present for Agnes.

Agnes Dreary Celebration Six
Penne is a dear friend I met through Agnes Dreary six years ago while
purchasing a fashion for Agnes from her on Ebay. Every year she sends my Agnes
Dreary a fashion for her birthday along with a bit of a storyline connected to
the garment.
Here is the story for Agnes Dreary Celebration Six - Carly PS Agnes's
friends were required to black to the event!
the Storyline -
Agnes stomped her foot, while
Victor laughed and played with the dog, and
Mrs. Dreary tried to talk with Sister on the phone. Great Aunt Olivia,
having coffee in the kitchen and watching Riley color could only shake her
head.
"I will not wear that dress, Mother!" Agnes insisted. "Its pastel pink!"
She whined miserably, "how could you do that to me?"
Mrs. Dreary assumed that Agnes was getting hormones, but that was neither
here nor there. The BBQ was tomorrow, Agnes needed a dress, and that was
the only one that met criteria in her size; she would have to wear it.
"It does fit you well, Agnes," announced Olivia, and, she went on, "I
think we can make a few small changes that will make you much happier with
it." She picked up her coffee and asked Agnes to come into the other room
with her and help her get the sewing things...
Several hours later, the dress was still pink, but eminently wearable in
Agnes's opinion....
