DH toured/visited family in Nevada...

and returned with a gift - for Viktor Dreary. So I guess that means he'll tolerate my doll collection a bit longer. : )

Food for Friends

I don't cook. I can't cook. I was sent out of the kitchen as a young girl so I didn't make a mess. BUT even I have to keep some food on hand for when guests drop by unexpectedly.

Here's what you need: one pack of Pillsbury cresent rolls, one circle of brie, oranges (blood is best), apples, nuts (almonds, walnuts, or pecans, one egg, and one bottle of a white wine. (I prefer Firefly Riesling or Alice White Lexia)

Not REALLY Stella but I love the story of the lovely fruitbat and - well - this is a bat.

Look Closely...

Hidden among the stones on the siding the little bat rests (small brown we believe) waiting for warmer temps to return home to roost. Poor dear didn't realize we still have low number temps here. Migrated a bit too soon?

I check my Stella day and had planned to find her gone when temps soared to 67 - but - alas - she is still holding on for warmer days.
