Doll accessories from McDonald's

McDonald's Happy Meals have been offering toys with the food that actually work well with the Dreary or dreary-like dolls in a sort of girlie way.

Sizing might be off just a bit but works well considering it's intention wasn't a Dreary prop. Don't be afraid to order a Happy Meal - I ask to have mine vegan - a side salad, apple dippers (substitue for burger and fries) and my beverage is a child size plain tea w/ lemon wedge.

Went outside yesterday to find the yellow flowers basking in the sun.

Tour de France 2009 - Lance on the podium!

Alberto Contador won the 96th Tour de France - congrats! But my heart will always be with Lance who placed third, returning to the sport after a 3 1/2 year retirement after winning his 7th Tour de France. Lance is the second oldest rider to stand on the podium (he's 37 - the oldest was 40 and that was back in the 1970s.)

Way to go LANCE ARMSTRONG!

In 2010 Lance will return and ride for a new USA team - Radio Shack! Here I'll sit - waiting in anticipation. Keep up the good work, Lance!

Bracelets - bangle - and only silver (NDR)

Not Doll Related BUT if I could find proper mini bangles for them - they'd be adorned in silver. Haven't worn ALL of my bangles in a while - and decided to deck out the old wrist today.

Silver is my kind of bracelet. My first three were a gift for Christmas from my Aunt Betty. Believe she got them in Allentown - Leslie Silversmith or some thing like that. I wore them all the time and never did transform into a necklace, ring, earring type of lover. Just my silver bangles which did manage to multiply but never surpass the joy I knew with the initial trio!
