While my mother and I disagreed on many - well MOST things, we both had a fondness for dolls. Wish she had lived to be part of the internet/convention/okay for adults to collect style we know today.
Dorothy had a passion for fashion and Hess's French Room was her favorite place to shop - in the day.
While I do not resemble any doll out there, my mother was a combo of Tonner's Regina and The Wicked Witch with the silver hair. Mother would have adored the Griffin Splendor fashion - silver/gray being her favorite color.
This post is dedicated to you, Mother - (who would have been 89 on October 15.)
